Raj Impex

Our small office, Raj Impex, is at No. 17 on C. K. Main Street. Perambur North is where we grew up, so it made sense to set up shop here. The street can get pretty crowded with bikes and people, especially in the evenings. We do a lot of the daily tasks ourselves, from packing to checking invoices. It is not glamorous work. My uncle started this place and now I am the one running the day-to-day things. We have some old desks and a few chairs that have seen better days. It works for what we need. Dealing with international orders means we are sometimes up late or in early because of the time zones. It is a bit tiring sometimes. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything. People usually find out about us through word of mouth or just by seeing the door. We focus on getting the crates packed securely. If a box breaks, it is a big problem for everyone. So we spend extra time on that. The neighbors at No. 15 are good people. We share tea sometimes when it is slow. It is just a regular local business. We do not have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep things moving and stay busy. It is enough for us to keep going.
