Sara Leathers

Sara Leathers is located at 86 Bajanai Koil Street in Pammal. It is a busy little street and the temple nearby is a big part of the neighborhood. We have our small setup here where we handle all the leather work. The building isn't very large, but it's enough for what we do every day. Pammal is a place where people know each other, so we often see neighbors walking past the door while we are working. The air inside always has that specific scent of treated leather. We have benches where the cutting and stitching happens. It is a lot of manual work and our hands stay busy from morning until evening. We don't use a lot of big fancy machines, just the ones that have worked for us for years. The light coming in from the street side is good for seeing the details on the hides. Sometimes the street gets blocked if there is a festival or a function at the temple, so we have to plan our deliveries around that. It's just how things are here on Bajanai Koil Street. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation. We just want to do honest work at Sara Leathers and keep the business going. Most of our days are spent right here at number 86, fixing things or making new items. It’s a steady life and we like the routine.
