J R S Exim is located right on Arunthathipuram 2nd Street in Pallavaram. It’s No. 16/21 if you’re looking for the door number. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while. Pallavaram is a busy area, but our street is a bit more tucked away. We do a lot of import and export work, mostly handling the logistics side of things. It's not a big corporate office; it’s more like a workspace where we can actually get things done. We have a few desks and a lot of shelf space for samples and files. Usually, the morning is the busiest time when we're coordinating with the docks. Sometimes the tea man comes by around eleven and we take a quick break. It’s just a few of us here. We don't wear uniforms or have big meetings. We just talk across the room to figure out what’s next. The rain can sometimes flood the street a bit, so we have to watch out for that in the monsoon. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with customs and shipping can be a headache, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. It’s a steady job. We like being in Pallavaram because it's close enough to everything we need. No big fuss, just a local business doing its thing every day. We usually close up shop right at six unless there is a huge order to finish.
