We are set up in P.S. Towers in Vadapalani. It’s an old building, New No: 75, right on Nerkundram Pathai. If you know Chennai, you know how busy Vadapalani is with all the film and media stuff. Nxgen Media fits right in here. We have a few rooms filled with computers and screens. Cables are everywhere, which is a bit of a tripping hazard, but we’re used to it. We do a lot of digital work and media production. The noise from the road can be a bit much when we’re trying to record something, so we’ve had to put up some basic padding on the walls. It isn't a professional studio look, but it works for what we need. Our team is small, mostly young people who know their way around editing software better than they know how to cook. We often stay late and order food from the shops downstairs. It’s a bit of a chaotic way to work, but it’s how media goes. We don't have a polished corporate image. We just produce videos and digital content for people who need it. Sometimes the software crashes and we lose an hour of work, which leads to a lot of shouting. But usually, we get things out on time. We don't use big fancy terms for our work. We just sit at our desks and try to make things look good on the screen.
