Nutri Flavours Pvt Ltd is tucked away at No 88/2 in the AB Block, over on 1st Street in Anna Nagar. It’s a pretty busy part of town, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. The office isn't anything special to look at. It’s just a few rooms where we handle all our business. We spend most of our time talking to suppliers and trying to keep our inventory straight. Sometimes the boxes pile up in the hallway and we have to squeeze past them to get to the back. We don't have a fancy logo or a big sign out front. Most people find us because they’ve worked with us before or heard about us from a neighbor. The air conditioning in the front room is a bit temperamental, so it gets stuffy in the afternoons. We just open the windows and deal with the street noise. It’s a small operation with only a few staff members, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. One day I’m checking invoices and the next I’m helping load a van. We don’t have a corporate hierarchy here. We just try to stay organized and get through the daily tasks. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes, but we like the pace of it. This is just how we've always done things.
