Bannari Amman Sugars Limited is located over at 1/3, Venus Colony. We are on 2nd Street in the Alwarpet area. It’s a nice part of the city to be in, and we’ve been here for some time now. People usually know Alwarpet quite well, so finding Venus Colony isn't usually a problem for visitors. We go by the name Bannari Amman Sugars Limited and this office is where we handle our administrative side and general operations. The building is a regular office space, nothing too loud or fancy. We like being on 2nd Street because it’s a bit quieter than the main roads but still very central. Our work involves the sugar industry, and while the actual processing happens elsewhere, this is our main touchpoint here. The staff here at the Alwarpet office are just regular people doing their jobs. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while and we’ve seen it change over the years. Being at number 1/3, we are easy to spot once you get onto the street. We don't have any big corporate slogans or anything like that to share. We are just a sugar company with a long history and this is our address. It’s a comfortable place to work and we are happy with the location we have chosen for our base. It is a stable spot that allows us to focus on the work at hand.
