Bannari Amman Sugars Ltd

We are located out in the Bhavani area, specifically in Sinnapuliyur. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from around Periyapuliyur. Bannari Amman Sugars Ltd has been part of this landscape for a long time. It isn't like an office in the city. Here, you see the fields and the real work happening. The air smells different, and the pace is dictated by the seasons and the harvest. We have our buildings and the processing areas, and it is a lot of hard work. People here know each other. It’s a community. We aren't into using big words to describe what we do. We handle sugar, and that involves a lot of moving parts and heavy lifting. Some days are incredibly busy, especially when the carts and trucks are lined up. Other times, it is just the sound of the wind across the fields. We don't have a fancy corporate lobby. Most of the time, we are out on the floor or checking things in the yard. It is a practical life. We focus on the product and making sure things run as they should. It isn't always easy, and things break down sometimes, but we fix them and keep going. Bhavani is our home and this is just what we do. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us all busy from sunrise to sunset. We don't really do the whole public relations thing. We just stay here in Sinnapuliyur.
