Nextstitch Manufacturing Private Limited is up in Chennai, right at No. 1 Goverdhanadass Street. We are in the Perambur Purasawalkam area, which is a pretty crowded part of the city. You can hear the city noise all day long—the horns, the people, and the trains. Inside our manufacturing unit, it’s just as busy. We have a lot of sewing machines lined up and everyone is focused on their specific task. It isn't a very big space, so we have to be organized with how we stack the finished goods and where we keep the raw materials. We don't have a big marketing budget or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just make clothes. Some days are better than others, like when a big order finally gets finished and shipped out. Other days we are just dealing with broken needles or the heat. We try to keep the fans going, but Chennai summers are no joke. We’ve been at this address for a while and most of the people in the neighborhood know who we are. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable for working long hours. It’s a practical business run by regular people who just want to get the work done right. We don't make any big promises, we just show up and do the work every day.
