Halcyon Impex

Halcyon Impex is located on the first floor of what used to be Old No. 4/1, but now it’s New No. 7. It can be a bit confusing for delivery drivers sometimes, but they usually find us eventually. Being on the first floor is okay, though carrying heavy stuff up and down the stairs can be a bit of a workout. We don't have an elevator, so we just make do with what we have. Inside, it’s a pretty basic office. We have our computers and some filing cabinets, and not much else in terms of decoration. We do a lot of impex work, which basically means a lot of coordination between different people and places. It’s mostly emails and long-distance calls throughout the day. We aren't a big corporation with departments for everything. Usually, whoever is closest to the phone picks it up. We’ve had some good years and some tough ones, but we’re still here. We don't put out fancy brochures or try to sound more important than we are. We’re just a small team trying to keep the business running smoothly. The neighborhood is okay, and we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed, and other times we finish early if the work is done. It’s just how it goes in this line of work. No fuss, just the usual daily grind.
