Navshakthi Cement Private Limited is tucked away in Kilpauk. We are at New No.11, which used to be Old No.6 B, on Kilpauk Garden 1st Street. It’s a nice enough area, quite a bit of greenery around compared to other parts of the city. The office is in a building that feels more like a home than a place of business. We’ve kept it that way because it’s comfortable. We spend our days managing cement supplies and talking to contractors. It’s a steady kind of work. We don't have a big sign out front or anything like that. People who need us usually know where to find us. Inside, it's pretty quiet. You can hear the birds outside sometimes when the street isn't too busy. We’ve got a couple of rooms for the staff and a place to keep all the ledgers. It feels like an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. We don't use much fancy tech, just the basics to keep the orders moving. The cement business can be tough, but being based in Kilpauk makes it a little easier. We take things one day at a time. There is always some paperwork to catch up on or a delivery to track. We aren't trying to change the world. We are just a local business doing what we know how to do. It’s a decent life and we’ve been at it for years.
