Navaz School Of Music

Our music school is located in Allapakkam, Porur, specifically at New No 2A, Old No Metro, 59, on Samayapuram Main Road. It’s not a huge academy like you see in the city center. It’s more of a personal space where people come to learn. You’ll hear all sorts of sounds coming from the windows—sometimes it’s a guitar, sometimes a keyboard, and occasionally someone just starting out who isn't quite in tune yet. That’s just the nature of a music school. The rooms are a bit small and we have instruments tucked into every corner. It can feel a bit crowded when we have several students in at once. The street outside is usually busy, being a main road, so there’s always a backdrop of traffic noise behind the music. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or a fancy waiting lounge. Usually, you just walk in and find someone tuning up. We’ve been here in Porur for a while and most of our students live just a few blocks away. It’s a very casual atmosphere. We don't use big words about how we teach. We just like music and we like showing people how to play. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the cables and sheet music lying around, but it’s a real place for people who just want to pick up an instrument. You might have to wait a bit if we're in the middle of a lesson, but that's just how we work.
