Ever Shine Leathers

You can find us at No. 1 on 4th Street in Adam Nagar. This is in the Nagalkeni area of Chrompet, which has always been known for its leather industry. Our workshop is on a bit of a narrow street, so it’s always a scramble when a delivery truck shows up. We have been working with leather here for quite some time now. It’s not a clean or quiet job. There is always the smell of the tanning process and the noise of the machines. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for years. They know exactly how to handle the different grades of leather we get in. We don't have a fancy showroom or a big sign out front. Most of our business comes from people who already know where we are. We spend our mornings checking the quality of the hides and our afternoons getting everything ready for shipment. Sometimes the local kids play cricket on the street right outside our doors. We have to tell them to move when we're loading up the van. It’s just a normal, everyday business. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just process leather and make sure it goes where it's supposed to. It keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
