If you find yourself on 16th Cross Street in Mylapore, you’ll see us at E-115. Aaron Fashions has been a part of this street for quite a while. Mylapore has that old-school feel that we really enjoy. It’s busy, sure, but in a way that feels comfortable. Our shop isn't anything fancy. It's got shelves that have seen better days and a floor that’s been walked on by many people over the years. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. We’re more interested in the clothes and the people who wear them. We aren't trying to be some big brand you see on billboards. We’re just local people working in a local neighborhood. Sometimes the heat in Chennai gets to be a bit much, but we have a fan going and we just keep at it. People stop in, sometimes to buy something, sometimes just to escape the sun for a minute. We don't mind either way. We grew up around here, so we know the stories of the people on this street. It’s not a perfect business, and we make mistakes like anyone else. But we’re honest about it. That’s how we’ve always done things here on 16th Cross Street. We just take it one day at a time and try to be helpful to whoever comes into the shop to look around.
