My Career Academy

You can find us on the third floor of number 5 Clemends Road in Purasawalkam. We are situated right between the Saravana Store and Doveton Cafe, so it’s a very busy spot throughout the day. Usually, the smell of food from the cafe or the noise from the shoppers downstairs drifts up to our windows. We started My Career Academy to give people a place to prep for their future jobs without spending a fortune on big name schools. The stairs up to the third floor can be a bit of a climb if the lift is being slow, but once you're inside, it’s a dedicated space for learning. We have old desks and some charts on the walls that have been there for quite a few years now. We don't really do the whole high-tech thing here. It’s mostly books, notes, and a lot of talking through problems. We guide people on different career paths and help with the exams they need to take for government or private jobs. Sometimes the fans are a little slow on those really hot Chennai days, but we try to keep the windows open for a breeze. It's not a polished office with a reception; it’s just us working through study materials with whoever comes in needing help. We see a lot of different people, from young students to older folks trying to change careers. We just take it one day at a time, making sure everyone gets some time to ask their questions and work through their doubts in a quiet corner.
