Mukhtaar Garments

If you are looking for us, we are down at 2/1 S.M.R. Complex on the ground floor. It is in the 4th Lane of Singara Garden, right near the Masjid in Old Washermenpet. It is a very busy part of town. There are always people walking by and scooters zooming up and down the lane. Being on the ground floor makes it easy to move the heavy bundles of clothes in and out without having to deal with stairs. The Masjid is so close we can hear everything happening there, which is a nice part of our day. Inside the shop, it gets a bit crowded with all the boxes and the sewing tables taking up most of the room. Mukhtaar Garments has been in this spot for a bit, and we have gotten used to the layout. Sometimes it feels like we need more space, but we manage with what we have. The walls are painted a plain color and we have some old calendars hanging up. We spend a lot of time checking the seams and making sure the buttons are on tight. Old Washermenpet is a place where everyone is working hard, so we fit right in. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the street lights come on. It is a simple setup we have here at the S.M.R. Complex. We just focus on the garments and getting through the pile of work on the desk.
