We are located at No. 121 in Parvati Garden, on Annai Indira Gandhi Salai in Mudichur. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the middle of the city, which is nice for the kind of work we do at Natura Indigo. We deal a lot with dyes and natural colors, so having a bit of space and air is helpful. The building is simple, and we spend a lot of time out back or in the main workroom where the vats and the drying racks are. It’s not a very clean job; your hands usually end up stained by the end of the day, no matter how careful you are. The garden area nearby gives the place a bit of a calm feeling, though we are usually too busy to sit and look at it for long. Mudichur has grown a lot lately, but our little corner on Annai Indira Gandhi Salai still feels like its own world. We don't have a big team or a lot of high-tech equipment. It’s mostly just us using old methods and hoping the weather stays clear so things can dry properly. If it rains, everything slows down and we just have to wait it out. We aren't trying to be some massive factory. We just like working with the indigo and seeing the different shades come out of the tubs. It’s a slow process, but we’re used to it.
