M/S. Subbarow Apparels

M/S. Subbarow Apparels is tucked away in Kumaran Colony. You can find us at number 5 on 7th street in Vadapalani. Being in a residential area means it's not as loud as the main roads. We like it that way. The building is just a regular house that we converted into a workspace. Often you can hear sounds of the neighborhood while we work, like children playing or people heading to the market. We've been here for several years now. Our days are spent handling various types of apparel. Mostly it's sewing and checking for mistakes. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the trade well. No fancy signs are out front. If you didn't know we were here, you might just walk right past. Inside, it’s a bit crowded with machines and stacks of finished goods. Keeping it neat is hard when we are busy and things pile up. We aren't a big corporation, just local people working in Vadapalani. Coffee together in the mornings is how we start. There isn't much talk about "visions" or anything like that here. We just focus on the shirts or pants we are making that day. It is a steady life and we are happy with it. Doing a decent job and keeping the business running for another year is the goal. That's all we really hope for at the end of the day.
