Mrubha Arts is located at No. 2 Sriramanilayam on Mayor Ramanathan Salai. It’s a decent-sized space where we keep all our supplies and the finished pieces we’ve been working on. The building has been around for a long time, and you can see that in the walls and the old heavy doors. We spend most of our time here working on various art projects. It’s often a bit messy with paint, brushes, and frames lying around on the tables, but that’s just how we work best. We don’t really have a showroom or a gallery feel to the place. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get made by hand. The road outside, Mayor Ramanathan Salai, stays pretty busy with traffic and honking, so there’s a constant hum while we’re inside. We have a few windows that let in some natural light, which really helps when we’re trying to get the colors exactly right. It’s just a few of us here. We don’t wear uniforms or anything formal. Most days, we’re just in old clothes that we don’t mind getting paint on. People come by to drop off items or pick up what they ordered last week. We don’t do much talking about big goals or missions. We just like making things and making sure they look the way they’re supposed to. It’s a simple setup in a familiar part of town, and we’ve been happy here for a while now.
