Ajantha Arts & Crafts. Our shop is located at number 92 in C I T Nagar. We are on the 5th Main Road in the Nandanam area. It’s a bit quieter here than on the main roads, which is nice. When you walk in, you’ll notice the smell of wood and different materials we use for our crafts. The shelves are packed tight with all sorts of items we’ve made or collected. It’s a bit of a jumble, honestly. We don’t have a fancy layout like a mall store. It’s more of a traditional workshop and retail space combined. There is always a bit of dust from the work we do. We spend a lot of time at the back tables working on new pieces. The lighting isn’t perfect, but it’s enough for us to see what we are doing. We’ve lived and worked in this area for years. Most of our neighbors know us by name. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few people who know their way around a craft project. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s not too hot. The 5th Main Road has some trees that give a little shade. We take our time with the things we make. It’s a slow pace of life here. We just like making things and having a place to show them to anyone who stops by. It’s a simple life surrounded by art and hard work.
