Vimonisha Art Gallery

You can find Vimonisha Art Gallery over at No 12, Khader Nawaz Khan Road. We are quite close to the Taj Coromandel Hotel in Nungambakkam. It's a very famous street in this part of town. The gallery is in a spot that feels quite grounded despite being in such a busy area. We have been showing art here for quite a while now. The building is a regular structure, nothing too modern or flashy on the outside. Inside, we have our walls set up for whatever we are displaying at the time. It’s a quiet place to work. Nungambakkam is always bustling, but once you step into No 12, it feels a bit calmer. We spend our days arranging the space and talking to visitors who happen to wander in. Khader Nawaz Khan Road has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed put. Being near the hotel helps people find us easily. Vimonisha Art Gallery isn't run by a big corporation; it’s more of a personal project for us. We handle everything from the cleaning to the lighting ourselves. It’s a bit of a labor of love, honestly. We don’t use any complicated systems. We just open the doors and let the art speak for itself. It’s a nice way to spend the day in this neighborhood. We've seen many businesses come and go on this street but we are still here.
