Mercy Fine Arts is tucked away on Ponnusamy Street, specifically at No. 19/51. If you know where the Royapetah Police Choke is, we are located just near that spot in the Baheriya area. The street outside is usually full of people, vendors, and a lot of local energy. Inside our space, it smells like paper and different kinds of paint most of the time. We have shelves filled with various materials we have collected over the years. It is not the most organized place in the world, but we know where every single item is kept. The light comes in through the front windows in the afternoon, which makes the workspace feel a bit better. Most days, you can find someone working at the big wooden table we kept in the back. We have been in this neighborhood for a good bit now, so we know the other shop owners and the folks who walk by every morning. It is a little dusty, to be honest, because of all the art supplies and wood pieces. We do not have a formal receptionist; you just walk in and one of us will look up from whatever we are cutting or drawing. We just do our own thing here. It is a relatively quiet space compared to the chaos out on the street near the police station. We keep the doors open when the weather is decent. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions.
