Amberley Leathers

Being located at No. 740 Mount Road means there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside the door. It is one of the busiest streets you could possibly be on in this city. We have seen a lot of changes in this neighborhood over the years. New buildings go up and shops change hands all the time, but we are still here doing our thing with leather. We do not have a huge showroom with lights and mirrors. It is more of a place where we actually do the physical work. You can hear the sounds of cutting and the occasional hammer from the back. We work with all kinds of leather pieces throughout the week. Sometimes it is small items, other times it is much larger projects. We do not really follow any big business plans or have meetings. We just take the orders as they come and try to get them finished on time. The staff here are more like a family than employees. We have worked through many hot summers and heavy rainy seasons in this spot. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when the monsoon is very strong, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. We do not spend money on fancy decorations. The money goes into the tools we use. If you come by, you will find us working.
