Mother Land Import & Export

You can find Mother Land Import & Export on the 2nd floor of a building at No. 25/1 on Karnan Street. It’s in Rangarajapuram, which is a busy little corner of Kodambakkam. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, but mostly it's just about having enough space for our desks and all the files we have to keep. We do the work of bringing goods in and sending them out, which involves a lot of phone calls and checking on containers. It's not a glamorous job, just steady work that keeps us occupied from morning until evening. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been in this neighborhood for some time, and it feels like home. Our neighbors are mostly other small businesses or families living nearby. The tea shop downstairs is where we usually end up when things get stressful. We don't use big words to describe what we do; we just handle the logistics and try to make sure nothing gets stuck at the port for too long. It’s a simple setup we have here on Karnan Street, and it works for us. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the paperwork moving without any major errors. It keeps us quite busy through the week.
