Our place, Montan Hydraulik India Pvt Ltd, is over at 2/198 on the G N T Road in Sholavaram. It’s a bit outside the main city, but it suits us just fine because of all the heavy vehicles that use this road. We have a decent amount of space here, which is good because hydraulic equipment isn't exactly small or light. The shop can get pretty greasy and we usually end the day with a few stains on our clothes, but that's just part of the trade. We aren't really into the whole corporate image thing. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back working on something. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a while. We know our way around the machines and we don't feel the need to use a lot of technical jargon if we can help it. We just explain what we are doing in plain English. The power in Sholavaram can be a bit unreliable sometimes, so we’ve had to get used to working around that. We just keep things simple and focus on the task at hand. It’s a quiet life out here for the most part, away from the city noise. We just show up, do what needs doing, and try to do a good job of it. That’s all there is to it. Anyway, we like the pace of work here on G N T Road.
