Modish Leather

You’ll find us over at 10 O Block in Anna Nagar. It’s a fairly quiet corner compared to some other parts of the city, and we like it that way. Modish Leather has been operating out of this spot for a while. We aren't a massive factory; we’re more of a small workshop where we handle everything ourselves. The smell of leather is the first thing you notice when you walk in the door. It’s a strong scent, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We have tools scattered across the workbenches and scraps of material on the floor. It’s a bit disorganized to the outside eye, but there is a system to it. Most of our day is spent cutting, stitching, and checking the finish on different items. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass cases. Everything is just sitting out on the tables or hanging on the walls. People from around Anna Nagar sometimes drop in just to see what’s new. We don’t do much in the way of marketing. Usually, someone tells a friend about us, and that’s how we get our visitors. It’s just a few of us here, and we like the hands-on nature of the work. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
