Down in Padi, specifically in the Mannurpet area, you’ll find our workshop at No 608 on MTH Road. Mitruka Engineering Co is a place where we get our hands dirty every day. We handle various engineering tasks and machining work. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. There is usually some grease on the tables and the smell of cut metal in the air. We have a few machines that have been with us for a long time, and we know exactly how they behave. Our team is small, mostly guys who have been doing this kind of work since they were young. We take on jobs that require a bit of precision and a lot of patience. Sometimes a customer brings in a part that is completely worn out, and we have to figure out how to fix it or make a new one from scratch. Mannurpet is a good spot for us because there are other workshops nearby, so we can always find help or materials if we run short. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. Most people hear about us from someone else in the trade. We just show up, do the machining, and try to get the parts finished on time. It’s a practical way to make a living and it keeps us occupied.
