Millstream Leathers

Millstream Leathers is located at 2 Nathan Street, which is just off Harrington Road in the Chetpet area. We have been here for a good number of years now. It’s a small place, and if you aren't looking for it, you might just walk right past the entrance. Inside, it’s all about the leather. We have piles of it in different colors and thicknesses stacked against the walls. The workspace is a bit messy with scraps on the floor and tools scattered on the tables, but that’s just how we work. We don't have any high-tech machinery. Most of what we do is done by hand or with very old machines that we’ve maintained ourselves. It’s a quiet street for the most part, though you can hear the city noise in the distance. We don't do any big advertising or have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we do, they just come into the workshop and look around. The lighting isn't great, but we know our way around the space even in the dark. We take our tea breaks together under the small tree outside when the weather is nice. It’s not a high-pressure environment. We just take the orders as they come and work through them one by one. It’s a steady life, and we are happy to keep things small and manageable here in Chetpet. We just focus on the craft.
