Mhitraa Engineering Equipment

You can find us down in Muthupet, which is in the Tiruvarur District of Tamil Nadu. It's a coastal area, so there is always a bit of salt in the air. We work with engineering equipment. Our workshop isn't anything fancy, just a sturdy building with a lot of heavy metal tools. We spend our days dealing with machinery and parts that locals need for their projects. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the exact spot because the roads here are narrow. We have been here for years and most of the town knows who we are. It gets very humid, so we are usually sweating by noon. We aren't a big corporation from Chennai or anything. Just a local shop where we know how to handle machines. The floor is covered in oil stains and metal shavings. That's just how a real workshop looks. We have some old benches where we sit and talk during breaks. There is no air conditioning, just the sea breeze when it decides to blow. We do our best to get the equipment ready on time. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. People around here rely on us to keep their gear running. It’s a simple, busy life in Muthupet. The dog from the neighboring yard usually hangs around our front door looking for scraps. We keep our tools organized on the wall so we don't lose anything in the middle of a big job.
