Mhitraa Engineering Equipment (P) Ltd. is out in the Sipcot Industrial Park at Vengadu Village. We are located at No: S1, near the Pilaipakkam Post in the Sriperambudur Taluk of Kancheepuram. It is a bit of a drive out here, but this is where the heavy work happens. We deal with engineering equipment, which means we spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and checking tolerances. It is not the kind of job where you can just wing it. Everything has to fit right or it does not work at all. Our workshop is a big space with plenty of grease and metal. It is loud when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout to be heard over the noise. We have been in this industry for a while and have seen how things have moved toward more automation, but you still need a human eye to catch the small mistakes. We are not a shiny corporate headquarters. We are an engineering firm where people wear boots and get their hands dirty. The weather in Kancheepuram can be pretty rough, especially the heat, but we have got our routine down. We do not bother with fancy slogans. We just focus on the parts and pieces that need to get shipped out. Every day is different depending on what order comes in next. It is a lot of coordination between the guys on the floor and the office staff to keep things moving on schedule.
