Meridian Apparels Ltd.

We've been at Meridian House for a while now. It's on TTK Road, specifically at 121/3 in Manickam Avenue. Most people in the neighborhood know the spot. We mostly deal with clothing and getting things made for our customers. The office is usually busy with people coming in and out checking samples or talking about designs. Sometimes the traffic on TTK Road gets a bit much, but we like being here because it is central. It’s just how we run things, keeping track of orders and making sure the stacks of fabric are where they need to be. There isn't much to say other than we work hard every day. We've got a small team. Some of us have been here since the start. It gets hot in the afternoons but we keep the fans going to stay comfortable. We just do our work and try to get the garments out on time. If you walk past, you'll see the sign. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get the job done. We handle the stitching and the packing in the back. It’s a lot of manual work. We don't spend much time on the computer unless it's for emails or bills. Mostly it's just the sound of machines and people talking about thread counts or delivery dates. That is basically what happens here at Meridian Apparels Ltd. every single week. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to keep the machines running.
