We've been at 26 Thiruveedhi Amman Koil Street for a while now. Mannurpet is where we do most of our work. People around Padi usually just drop by the shop when they need something fixed or handled. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular workshop with tools and parts scattered around. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded, but we manage. We handle the mechanical side of things, mostly. It's dusty work, and our hands are usually greasy by noon. My brother and I started this because we liked taking things apart to see how they worked. Now, we just do it for the folks in the neighborhood. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. Just the main floor and a desk in the corner for the bills. If you walk down the street near the temple, you’ll find us easily enough. We keep regular hours, but if a job takes longer, we stay late to get it done. The equipment is old but it still works fine. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city. We just want to get the work right so people come back next time. Usually, it's just us and a couple of helpers. It's loud inside when the machines are running, so we usually talk pretty loud to hear each other. That's just how it is here.
