You can find Makara Leather Manufacturing Company Pvt. Ltd. over at 72, Harrington Road in Chetpet. It’s an old area and our building has a lot of character, though it needs a bit of paint here and there. We’ve been doing the manufacturing work here for quite a long time. The street outside is usually full of cars and people, but inside we just focus on the leather. It’s a messy job sometimes, with all the cutting and the scraps, but we don't mind getting our hands dirty. At Makara Leather Manufacturing Company Pvt. We have a small office in the front and the workshop in the back. It gets pretty hot during the summer, but we have a few fans going to keep us moving. Every day is pretty much the same—open up, check the machines, and start the production. It’s a steady rhythm that suits us well. No big polish, just a regular factory doing its thing. We usually lock up around six and head home to our families after finishing the daily tally.
