Mahaasri Traders

Mahaasri Traders is on the first floor of a building on Acharappan Street. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know how narrow it is and how many shops are packed together. It’s a very old part of the city, and the buildings have a lot of history to them. We don’t have a lot of room, so we have to be very careful with how we stack our goods. Usually, the street is so busy that you can barely move a motorbike through, let alone a big cart. We’ve been operating from this No. 60 address for a bit now. It’s a lot of climbing up and down the stairs for me and the boys. We deal with various traders and shops who come to us for their stock. The fans in the office barely keep the heat away during the summer, but we’re used to it. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or big signs. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been doing business with my father for years. It’s a very traditional way of working, I suppose. We write everything down in the books and keep a close eye on the inventory. It’s noisy, hot, and tiring, but it’s our business and we’re proud of the work we put in every single day. We just want to keep things running the way they have always been, simple and reliable.
