Steve Import & Export

My name is Steve and this is where I work, down on the ground floor of 4th Block in Maduravoyal. We do import and export. It's a lot of paperwork. Dealing with customs and the port can be a real pain. We have a small office at number 28. It's nothing fancy, just a place to keep the files and talk to customers. Sometimes the internet is slow and we can't send the emails we need to. That’s when we just go for a walk. Maduravoyal has changed a lot lately. More buildings and more traffic. We get goods from overseas and send stuff out too. You have to be careful with the labels. If a label is wrong, the whole box gets stuck. I’ve learned that the hard way. We work long hours when a big shipment is coming in. The ground floor stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is good. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth. We just try to get the jobs done right so they come back. It's a lot of coordinating with trucks and ships. Sometimes the weather ruins the schedule. We just take it as it comes. We usually have the radio on in the background. It helps the day go by faster when we are packing crates and checking lists.
