Mabel Nylon Fishnet Stores

We've been at 28/1 Stringer Street for a long time. It’s usually quite busy around Broadway, especially in the mornings. We sell nylon fishnets mostly. People come in looking for all sorts of different sizes. Sometimes they know exactly what they need, but other times they just stand there browsing the bundles for a while. It’s a bit cramped in here with all the stock piled up, but we manage somehow. If you walk down the street, you’ll see our shop easily enough. We keep things simple. The nets are all piled up near the back of the room. Usually, one of us is around to help move the heavy stuff when it arrives. It's dusty work and our hands get calloused, but that's just how it is. The street gets really loud in the afternoons with the traffic. Most of our regulars are local guys who’ve been fishing since they were kids. They tell stories about the sea while we cut the mesh for them. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. Just rolls of nylon and some thick string. It’s what we do every day. There isn't much else to say. If you're near Broadway and need some netting, this is where we stay. We open pretty early when the sun starts coming up and the air is still cool. Closing time varies depending on the day. Sometimes we stay late to reorganize the shelves and count the stock. It’s just a normal shop.
