Lukmaan Traders

Lukmaan Traders is at 110, Jagadambal Colony, which is in the Mylapore area. Mylapore is one of those places that feels very traditional and busy at the same time. Our office is tucked into the colony, so it’s a bit away from the heaviest traffic of the main roads. It is a simple building, and we have been at number 110 for quite a few years now. The space inside is mostly filled with our desks and some stacks of paper. We don't have any big fancy meeting rooms. Most of our discussions happen over a cup of coffee while we are standing around. The neighborhood is full of old houses and small shops, and the smell of jasmine and coffee is often in the air. We start our day early, usually before the sun gets too high. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a corporate handbook or anything like that. We just know what needs to be done and we do it. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello, which is how things are in Jagadambal Colony. We keep a steady pace and don't try to rush through everything.
