You can find us at No. AD 61, on the first floor of the AD Block, 3rd Street in Anna Nagar. It’s a busy part of the city, and being on the first floor means we hear all the street noise throughout the day. We work with looms and fabrics here. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with the equipment and the storage, but we’ve managed to organize it over time. The name of the place is Loom And Love, and we basically just spend our days with the threads. It’s a lot of manual checking and sorting. Anna Nagar is a nice area, but it gets very crowded, so getting supplies in and out can be a bit of a hassle. We aren't some giant corporation; we’re just a small group of people who know our way around a loom. The work is slow and steady. We don't rush things because that’s when the mistakes happen in the weaving. Most of the day is spent listening to the rhythm of the work. Sometimes we have customers coming in to look at what we’ve made, so we have to tidy up the place a bit. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the tools of the trade and the finished pieces. It’s a simple business. We just like what we do and try to keep the quality decent. It's enough for us to keep going.
