Libra Garments

You can find us at No. 7 MGR Road in Nanganallur. It is a pretty busy street with a lot of shops and houses mixed together. Libra Garments is located in a building that has been here for years. We occupy a space that is just big enough for our equipment and the few people who work here. The front door opens right onto the sidewalk of MGR Road. Sometimes people stop in just because they saw the sign while walking by. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. Most of the room is taken up by the cutting tables and the stacks of finished goods ready to go out. The floors are concrete and we try to keep them swept, but threads and bits of cloth seem to get everywhere anyway. Nanganallur is a nice neighborhood to work in. There are good places to get snacks nearby during our afternoon break. We spend most of the day listening to the radio and working through the orders. The traffic outside can get a bit loud in the evenings, but inside we are usually focused on the sewing. We have a small desk near the back where we keep all the papers and the phone. It is a simple life and a simple business. We just do our best to finish the work we are given and keep the shop running smoothly from day to day.
