Leevi Exports Pvt Ltd is based at No Y-1/4, Saf Gv Inner Ring Road in Koyambedu. This is a big, busy area near the market and the transport hub. Because of where we are on the Inner Ring Road, there is constant traffic noise, but it makes it easy for trucks to get to us. Our facility is more about function than looks. We have a lot of floor space for moving crates and checking our exports. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the stacks of goods waiting to go out. We don’t have a fancy office upstairs; we mostly just have a small corner with a couple of desks and a computer that’s seen better days. The team here is small and we all pitch in with everything. If a shipment arrives, everyone is out there helping. We don’t have a mission statement or any of that corporate stuff. We just focus on getting the counts right and making sure the labels are on straight. Koyambedu is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the crowds, but it’s where the action is. We’ve been at Y-1/4 for a while and we know the rhythms of the road. Sometimes the rain floods the street a bit, but we just keep working through it. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We show up, do the work, and go home. That is what we do.
