Leather World Chennai

Our place, Leather World Chennai, is situated at 285/2 Mettukuppam Road in Vanagaram. It is a bit out of the main city center, which is actually nice because we have a bit more space to breathe. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains, and we often have to mop the floors twice a day to keep things clean. We have a large warehouse area where we keep all the different leather products. It’s mostly just us moving crates and checking inventory. Vanagaram is an area that has grown a lot lately, but we remember when it was much quieter. We have a small office attached to the front of the warehouse. It’s got a couple of ceiling fans that make a lot of noise, but they keep us cool enough during the humid days. We don't really do any big marketing or anything. People mostly find us by word of mouth or because they are looking for something specific in the Chennai area. We spend our mornings sorting through the new arrivals and our afternoons getting things ready for dispatch. It’s a repetitive kind of job but we like the routine. The staff here at 285/2 are local people who have been with us for a long time. We don't pretend to be some big corporate entity. We are just Leather World Chennai and we work hard on Mettukuppam Road to get things done every day. It is a simple life.
