Lale Shri Silk Private Limited

We are tucked away at 122 Mugappair Main Road in the old village area near Ambattur. Silk is what we handle here. It’s a delicate business, but the place doesn't look like a palace. It’s a practical building where we keep the stock and talk to customers. The road outside can get pretty jammed up with traffic, but inside we just try to keep things organized. We've got rolls of fabric and finished pieces sitting around everywhere. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy receptionist or a waiting room. You just walk in and someone will help you. We’ve been part of the Mugappair community for a bit. People know us for silk, and we don’t try to do anything else. Sometimes we get shipments that are a bit late, and we just have to explain that to people. We don't have a big marketing budget or glossy brochures. We just show the fabric and let people decide for themselves. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy for that right now. It’s a real place with real people working. We have a small team, and everyone knows everyone. We don't use corporate talk because it doesn't fit who we are. We just sell silk and try to be fair about it. It’s a decent way to make a living in Chennai. We stay busy and keep it simple.
