Sri Annamalai Embroidery

Our workshop covers No. 13 14 & 15 Subbaiah Nagar, located off the Kundrathur Main Road in Sivanthangal. Having those three spaces together gives us enough room to set up the embroidery frames and machines without bumping into each other too much. Sri Annamalai Embroidery is all about the details, even if the shop itself looks a bit cluttered sometimes. We have threads in every color you can think of piled up on the shelves. Kundrathur Main Road is always humming with vehicles, so we have a constant backdrop of traffic noise while we work. It’s a practical place. We don't have fancy carpets or air conditioning that works all the time. We just focus on the stitching. Some of the designs take a long time and require a lot of patience. We aren't interested in sounding like a big brand. We just like the work and the people who come to us seem to appreciate that. Sivanthangal is a good neighborhood for this kind of business. We’ve been here long enough that the local delivery guys know exactly where to drop things off. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. We just open the doors in the morning, check the orders, and start the machines. It’s a simple life and it keeps us busy. We mostly just drink our coffee and focus on the needlework until the sun goes down.
