Krishna Imports & Exports

Our office is at Flat - J in the Arul Nivas Apartment, No. 4/3 right on Anna Main Road. Working out of an apartment is a bit different than having a big warehouse but it suits us just fine for now. We deal with both imports and exports which means there is always something coming or going. The traffic on Anna Main Road is almost never quiet, so we hear the horns and the buses all day long. It can be a bit distracting when you are trying to fill out forms but you get used to it after a month or two. We have a few rooms set up for storing smaller items and another room just for the desk work. It gets a little cramped when we have a big shipment arriving and we have to move the chairs out of the way. We started doing this because we saw an opening for it and we just stuck with it. It’s mostly just me and a few others keeping track of everything. We don't wear suits or anything like that here. It is more about getting the job done than looking important. Sometimes we stay late into the evening if a ship is late or if some paperwork gets stuck at the office. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the flow going without making a big fuss about it.
