Our shop is on the first floor of Marble Hall at 118/6 Vepery High Road. Periamet is a place famous for leather, so we are right in the middle of where all the action is. When you first walk into our space, the thing you notice immediately is the strong smell of tanned hides. It is a scent that we have grown to love over the many years we have been here. We have stacks of leather everywhere you look, in all sorts of different colors and thicknesses. It is not a very tidy place, but we know exactly where everything is located. We spend most of our time cutting, measuring, and checking the quality of the skins that come in. Sometimes we have to have a bit of an argument with a supplier if a batch is not up to the quality we expected. It is just part of the trade we are in. We are not a high-end boutique with glass display cases and soft lighting. We are a working leather company through and through. People come to us when they need materials or finished goods that are going to last a long time. We do not have a marketing team or anyone managing a social media account. We just rely on people knowing that we do decent, honest work. The office part of the shop is just a single desk with a lot of samples scattered around on top of it.
