Glads Impex

If you find yourself on Arcot Road in Kodambakkam, you'll see us at No. 170. Glads Impex has been operating out of this building for a bit. It’s a noisy area with all the vehicles, but it’s a good spot for getting things moved. We deal with imports and exports, mostly sitting at the desks and working the phones. There's usually a pile of invoices sitting near the computer. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes it gets a bit cluttered when new stock arrives. Kodambakkam is a hectic place to work, but we like being in the middle of it. Our space isn't huge, just enough for what we need to get done every day. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the orders filled without any mistakes. Every morning starts with tea and a look at the logbooks. Then it's just a lot of coordinating with people from all over. Sometimes things get delayed at the port, and we have to spend the whole day fixing it. It's just part of the job. We've got a small crew here who knows how Arcot Road works. We keep our heads down and stay on top of the shipping schedules. That’s how we’ve always done it, and it seems to work out for everyone involved in the end.
