Goldland Overseas Company

We've been at No. 70 Ormes Road for a while now. It's the first floor, right across from that Mummy Daddy bus stop in Kilpauk. People usually find us by looking for the stop first. Goldland Overseas Company is just a small operation here. We handle a lot of different things going out to other places. The office isn't fancy. There’s usually a lot of paperwork on the desks and the phone rings quite a bit. It gets busy during the middle of the day. We try to keep things moving. Sometimes the traffic outside on Ormes Road gets pretty loud, especially with the buses pulling in and out. Most of the folks who work here have been around for a long time. We know the neighborhood well. It’s a good spot to be. We just show up every morning and get through the list of what needs to be shipped or sorted. The fan in the corner makes a clicking sound but it keeps us cool enough while we work through the stacks of orders. There’s no big secret to how we do things. We just do the work as it comes in. If someone stops by, they'll probably see us sorting through files or talking to drivers. It's a lot of coordination. Kilpauk is a busy area, so there's always something happening right outside the window. We've got our routine down. It works for us and the people we deal with. We don't spend much time on decorating or making things look pretty. We just focus on the logistics.
