D. N. R. Eximp Pvt. Ltd. is located inside the Ega Trade Centre on P. H. High Road. We are up on the 5th floor, specifically in section 5a. Being in Kilpauk means we are right in the thick of things. The elevator in this building is sometimes a bit slow, so we end up waiting around in the lobby quite a bit. Our office is typical for a trade center—lots of fluorescent lights and the sound of printers going. It’s not the most scenic place, but it serves its purpose for our export business. We have a decent view of the traffic on the High Road from the hallway windows. Some days it feels like the cars down there never stop moving. We spend our hours looking at spreadsheets and talking to customs agents. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication, which can be draining. We aren’t a huge team, just a few of us trying to keep the operations running smoothly. The 5th floor is usually quiet enough for us to focus, unless there’s maintenance work going on. Kilpauk is a busy part of the city, so there’s always somewhere to grab lunch nearby. We don’t have any grand statements to make about what we do. We just facilitate trade from this office and try to get home before the worst of the evening traffic hits the road. It’s just a job like any other.
