Kilpauk Medical College

Our place, Kilpauk Medical College, is tucked away on the 287th Cross Street in the Mahalaxmi Nagar part of Adambakkam. Chennai is always hot, and this area is no different, so the fans are always going full blast in the offices. We have been at this address for a while and the building shows its age with some cracks here and there. It’s a busy environment because medical stuff always is. You’ll see people in white coats walking fast down the halls and plenty of stacks of medical books in the corners. The address says 600088 and that’s right in the middle of a residential pocket, so it feels a bit cramped sometimes. Finding a parking spot on the street can be a real headache, especially in the mornings. We don’t have fancy lobby furniture, just some old plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait. The sound of the city is always in the background, with horns and people shouting from the nearby shops. We deal with a lot of students every single day and the registration desk is usually a bit of a mess with papers everywhere. It isn't a quiet library type of place; it’s more of a functional building where people are always learning something new. We just keep the doors open and try to help everyone who comes through the gate without making it too complicated. It is just a busy spot for local students.
