Kids Club International School

Kids Club International School is tucked away at number 7 in Sheriff Colony, specifically on the 2nd Main Road. It’s a bit quieter here than on the main roads, which is nice for a place where children spend their day. The school is basically a converted building that fits right into the residential feel of the colony. We have neighbors on both sides, so we try to keep the noise down, though that’s hard with kids around. The rooms are decorated with stuff the students have made over the weeks. It’s not a sterile environment at all; there are bits of paper and crayon marks here and there. We spend our time managing the daily arrivals and departures in the narrow street. Our staff is mostly local people who can walk or bike to work. We don't have a big fancy lobby. Instead, you just walk in and you're pretty much in the middle of everything. We spend a lot of time talking to parents at the gate. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us. We just focus on keeping the kids safe and making sure they have their lunch on time. There is always a pile of shoes near the door and a bit of a mess in the play area by the afternoon. It is just a normal, busy school in a quiet colony. We don't have many administrative staff, so the teachers handle almost everything themselves including the paperwork and fixing things.
