Khadi Craft

You can find Khadi Craft right on N.S.C. Bose Road in the Parrys area, directly opposite the Law College. It’s a very old part of the city, and the streets are always packed with people and shops. Our building has been here for a long time, and you can feel the history when you walk through the door. We sell a lot of traditional items, and the shop is usually filled with the smell of cotton and handmade goods. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of all the traffic outside, but we try to keep things tidy for the people who come in. We don’t really have any fancy displays or bright lights. Most of our shelves are made of old wood, and they’re stacked high with different fabrics and crafts. The staff here has been with us for years, so they know exactly where everything is, even if it looks a bit disorganized to a stranger. People come from all over to find specific things they can't get elsewhere. We don’t do much online; we prefer it when people actually walk in and see the stuff for themselves. It gets really busy during the festival seasons, and we end up staying late to help everyone out. It’s a simple business, rooted in the local community, and we just enjoy being part of the daily life in Parrys. We aren’t looking to change much about how we operate or move to a modern mall anytime soon.
